Zlatibor
Zlatibor is deservedly one of the most popular tourist destinations in Serbia. The mountain is famous for its fresh air, beautiful landscapes, traditional surroundings, good pršuta, deluxe accommodation, but also with a lot of facilities for kids and active holiday lovers.
Those who are into skiing are welcome to enjoy Tornik ski center that turns into great panoramic scenery with mountain biking and an amusement park.
Local tradition is preserved in the open-air museum in Sirogojno village where authentic cottages from the surrounding countryside are moved, adding to the specific ambiance. Not far from here, there is another place to visit – Stopića Cave. It is well-known for its “siga” tubs crated by deposited limestone, but it also houses an internal waterfall.
Mild hills Zlatibor is recognizable for can be seen in Rudine village, while the breathtaking 20 meter waterfall tumbles down in Gostilje.
