Abundant in mountains, given that it is surrounded by Golija, Ozren, Jadovnik, and Giljeva, with the valley itself that is at an altitude of 1,000 meters, the area can get covered in deep snow during winter, while summers are perfect for long walks and outdoor activities.
A visit to Pešter is a must, but also to Uvac or Sjenica Lake with the breath-taking views of Uvac meanders, or to one of the mountains or rivers. On the other hand, one might find it interesting that this is where the only Ottoman royal mosque in Serbia is to be found, or that Sjenica houses an authentic traditional pie festival.
