Natural attractions

When the 461-meter-dam was built on Drina in 1966, the lake Perućac emerged. It is 50 kilometers long and 85 meters deep.

When the water reaches 22 degrees Celsius in July and August, it is hard to find a single free spot at the local beach. There are also small floating houses to be seen on Drina bank, numerous boats and fishermen, and those who enjoy water sports.

Perućac is thus extremely popular in the summer.
