Lađevac is the mineral spring with an average water temperature of 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. It bursts 50 liters of water in a second and is considered to have healing benefits. Lađevac can be reached by the 2-km-trail from the Rača monastery. It is situated at the entrance of the Rača river gorge.
The monastery dates back to the 13th century, while the Rača Copying School was extremely active during the 17th century and it was located at only 40-minute-walk from the monastery – near the Lađevac spring.

As interesting as the history of the place is, Lađevac itself will make you forget everything once you reach the spring. There is a small bridge over the river and narrow wooden steps to the next level. The spring doesn’t look that strong, but the site of it tumbling down in numerous streams, flowing over rocks and moss, and finally bursting down into Rača river often leaves one speechless.
