Prijepolje is also popular for its mountains.

Here is Jabuka (Apple) mountain to be visited at an altitude of 1,300 meters. Even though it bears the name of an apple, there is not a single apple tree to be found. Its name derives from an old Serbian costume instead.

Also, Jadovnik and Ozren mountain are considered to be areas of outstanding qualities with one of the most important flora diversities. Ozren is about 1,500 meters high, covering the region of more than 10,430 hectares in total.
