Jerina’s Town is the highest peak of Mučanj mountain at an altitude of 1,534 meters. Mučanj is recognizable for its rich karstic relief, rocks, and caves, but it is also well-known for one of the best views in the region with the freshly installed observation deck.

According to tradition, its name is a reminder of the trouble St Sava had when climbing the mountain. St Sava was Serbin prince and Orthodox monk, the first Archbishop of the autocephalous Serbian Church. When he reached the top, he allegedly found shelter in one of the caves where he struck a rock from which fresh water sprung up.
