Dragoljub Draža Mihailović was one of WWII Chetnik guerilla group leaders who was born in Ivanjica in 1893. He became a renowned King’s Army General during the WWII. The town dedicated memorial complex to Mihailović. Besides his statue, there is also a traditional cottage to be seen that is planned to be turned into a Chetnik museum and a library.

Mihailović’s complex adorns the very center of Ivanjica, being near the Stone Bridge and the central pedestrian area with a lot of cafés and restaurants.
