Located in Trešnjevica village, this is the medieval fortress situated high up on the 1,140 meters hill, that was once strategically extremely important. It is believed that the fort was destroyed in the same period when the famous Užice fortress was conquered by Serbian Prince Lazar in 1373.
It is interesting to know that this is where the border between Serbia and the Ottoman Empire was once established. Actually, the famous battle of 1806 took place in nearby Trešnjevica.
Gradina walls will provide a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and valleys.
