Lim river springs out in the foot of Prokletije mountain at an altitude of 999 meters. Its flow is 174 meters long connecting Plav, Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Prijepolje, Priboj, and Rudo. It ends its route as an affluent to Drina next to Medveđa.

What makes the river interesting is the fact that at somewhat small area a lot of different potentials emerge. Canyons and gorges take turns, high cliffs of grey limestone and waterfalls, springs and slopes, caves and valleys, all that with diversity in flora and fauna. Abundant in waters (about 20 degrees Celsius in the summer), Lim has perfect conditions for recreation, kayak rides, and rafting.

The Tourism Organization of Prijepolje in cooperation with local travel agencies offers a two-day-program called For Your Perfect Day that includes a visit to Sopotnica waterfalls and Lim rafting.
